Media Coursework

For my A level coursework i have decided to create a package for a new film. This will include a teaser trailer, together with a film magazine front cover, featuring the film and a poster for the film. I chose to do option because i am an avid film viewer and feel i would enjoy that element rather than music videos. Whereas music videos have a story to follow, film trailers give you the opportunity to explore different ideas to come up with your own story. You also see the full beginning, middle and end in a music video. However with a film trailer you have little snippets of the movie which is more exciting and will leave the viewer wanting to actually and go and see the film.
       In our group of four, we decided on the romantic comedy genre. After looking at a number of teaser trailers we decided to go with the idea of a typical 'chick flick' but with a fairytale theme. We decided to create a twist by modernizing the story into a 21st century film.
